Beef Cattle are our passion.
We are Matt and Hayley Pattison, we grow quality beef cattle on our property ‘Minmi’ near Burraboi, 60kms North-West of Deniliquin NSW. We spend our time running our stud and raising our three young children.
We were both born into cattle farming families, Matt from Wagga Wagga, and Hayley from Bathurst. Fittingly we met at the Wagga Wagga Saleyards and the romance bloomed.
As our wedding gift we received 15 Stud Poll Herefords from Hayley’s parents. The establishment of ‘Pattison Poll Herefords’ makes us 4th generation Stud Poll Hereford producers.
We appreciate Poll Herefords for their calm temperament, growth rates, early maturing carcasses, perpetual longevity, excellent maternal instincts and suitability to cross breeding programs.
We have always loved our beef, and as a family we cook it up for any occasion. We knew it tasted good and were passionate to share it….and so, Pattison Pastoral was born!
Our paddock to plate adventure started in 2020. As farmer’s we prefer the hands on approach, and are across every step of the process; from taking the time to select the best cattle, right down to the logistics of getting the beef right to your doorstep.
We also have a camping farm stay on location, we would love to meet you and show you around!
When I’m (Hayley) not busy with the cattle, I love dreaming up and cooking recipes with produce from our veggie garden, products sourced locally and of course our meat!
